EErry year for the last 10 years I’ve been going to Palm Beach with my fam. Its the perfect opportunity to do nothing except eat good food and occasionally explore the northern beaches. This year for a few nights Sophie Dalala from http://www.dalalaland.com came up to visit me so we could make yummy food, read good books, listen to good music, watch good films and do nothing much else.
The food we had consisted of:
Lunch one – Grilled chicken breast with a salad of honey roasted pumpkin and sweet potato, pancetta, grilled zucchini, roasted pine nuts and avocado with a sweet balsamic based dressing.
Night one – Green salad with caramelised macadamias, spare ribs and chicken skewers. We also made iced green tea with raspberries, lime, mint and white nectarine.
Breakfast – Homemade muesli made from puffed spelt, high protein berry and seed mix, almonds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds served with almond milk
Lunch two – Mung bean noodle salad with prawns, sweet pork, mung bean noodles, chilli, peanuts, shallots and basil.
Dinner two – Asian style barramundi with Chinese broccoli and green beans.
